Chocolate Oatmeal Banana Cookies

Hi there and happy Monday! Since this is a Monday, I figured that we all need some chocolate cookies. To be precise these Chocolate Oatmeal Banana Cookies. I don’t know about you, but summer is usually a healthy eating season for me, what with all the fruit and vegetables that are in season. But not this year. This year everything is upside down and inside out. So I wanted to come up with a healthy cookie recipe to balance the scale just a little. This formula of bananas and oats has been floating around the internet for a while now. And it’s so brilliant, simple, and healthy. I just added some vegan chocolate protein to it and BAM! Yummy, healthy, chocolate cookies were born. I just wish I thought of it sooner. Oh well, better late then never.

Chocolate Oatmeal Banana Cookies

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • 3 medium ripe bananas
  • 1 scoop of chocolate protein 

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray.
  • Mash bananas. Add protein powder, mix well. Add oats, mix again.
  • With a small ice cream scoop, portion cookies out on a baking sheet. Push the cookies down just a bit to make it flat. 
  • Bake 15-18 minutes at 375F
  • Cool down and enjoy!
