Overnight Protein Vanilla Cherry Oatmeal

This Overnight Protein Vanilla Cherry Oatmeal will knock your socks off! It’s so easy to make, and it’s a perfect breakfast meal prep. You can make it up to a month ahead, and it’s healthy and filling. What’s not to love?

Overnight oats is something that I tried ignoring for the longest time. It’s just so foreign to me, to soak oats in the fridge and then to eat them cold. And even when I did try to follow couple of recipes, it just didn’t take. That’s is until couple of weeks ago when I thought I’d give it another shot. After all it is pretty convenient. You can make up as many portions as you want in the individual containers or mason jars, and the dry ingredients will keep up to a month. Then you can add almond milk and frozen cherries and refrigerate up to a 3-4 portions. I wouldn’t do anymore than that as it could turn very soft, and the oatmeal could lose it’s texture. And that’s how this Overnight Protein Vanilla Cherry Oatmeal was born. Anyway, you can eat them just as they are, out of the jar and it’s perfect ,or you can get fancy and move it to a bowl and add almonds, coconut, maybe even fresh cherries while they’re in season. It’s perfect either way.
