Ingredients

  • 1 cup organic whole wheat pastry flour
  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup apple butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F.
  • Mix flour, oats, salt, and baking powder in a bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, beat eggs, then add milk, butter, apple butter, and maple syrup. Mix well.
  • Combine dry mixture and wet mixture and mix well.
  • Bake at 425°F for 10-15 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
