This probiotic detox bowl is a great way to get over holiday eating.
This is my go-to detox bowl. It’s similar to okroshka, a traditional Russian cold soup, but here the kefir is undiluted, which means you get the full probiotic benefit. In just 5 ingredients and almost no prep time, you’ll have a great way to get your digestive system back on track after the holidays, as every ingredient is known for helping remove unwanted toxins. I like to add the hard boiled egg for some protein so I can use this bowl as a meal replacement and get my diet back on track too, but you can also skip the egg. You’ll enjoy the delicious flavor and the probiotic, detoxing benefits that come with it.
Yield: 1 serving
- 1 1/4 cup kefir
- 1/4 cup spinach, chiffonade
- 1/4 cup cucumber, shredded
- 1/2 tbsp dill, chopped
- 1 egg, hard boiled
