With just 4 ingredients but lots of flavor, this is one of my favorite slow cooker recipes
This is such an easy recipe. Four ingredients (or as few as two), a few hours in a slow cooker, and that’s it–you have a delicious meal ready to go with very little effort. My mother-in-law used to make this with just the brisket and the Catalina dressing. I added the tomatoes and cayenne pepper because I like it with a little extra liquid and spice, but it’s great either way.
Ingredients
- 2-3 lb beef brisket
- 1 bottle of Catalina dressing
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
Method
Mix tomatoes, dressing, and cayenne pepper in the slow cooker. Place the brisket in.
Cook on low for 8-9 hours. Serve with rice, quinoa, pasta, or broccoli.
